Elk Hide Horn Wrap

Elk Hide Horn Wraps are a long-standing tradition in the Great Basin’s “slick-horn” buckaroo country. Used in place of rubber or a hard and fast tie, elk and mule hide wraps allow the dallies to slide as needed—providing smoother control and reducing stress on both cattle and horses. While both hides are considered “slick,” elk hide offers slightly more grab, making it a favorite among many ropers.

Please note: Elk hides are extremely scarce, and as such, color shades will vary from wrap to wrap. The product you receive may not match the photos shown. Each hide carries its own natural markings, scars, and variations—signs of authenticity that do not affect performance.
We carefully select the best hides available, but imperfections are inherent to natural materials and are not considered defects.
