This saddle was custom made for John Schutte of Bruneau, Idaho. After a lengthy discussion regarding the best options in a saddle for a cowboy to buckaroo and show horses in, John Schutte and John Wright of Capriola’s collaborated ideas to design the “Shutte Show Roper.” “The Shutte Show Roper was designed to be a versatile saddle. It has just enough swell to brace against whether you are team roping or showing reined cow horses down the fence. The seat is built up enough in the front to keep you back when stopping, yet is comfortable while cowboying. It also features a smooth in-skirt rigging for more freedom in stirrup leathers. If you are in the branding pen or in the competition arena, this saddle has the best of both worlds while keeping the classic hand crafted Capriola look.”
