Product Information
Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Squash Blossom Necklace with Greenish-Blue Turquoise
This bold and beautifully aged vintage Navajo squash blossom necklace is a classic example of Southwestern silver artistry. Measuring 26 inches in length and weighing 144.2 grams, the necklace is double-strung with traditional sterling silver bench beads and features twelve squash blossoms, each adorned with bezel-set oval turquoise stones surrounded by a twisted rope detail.
At its center, the piece displays a striking Naja pendant (approx. 58mm x 56mm), featuring eight turquoise cabochons arranged in a tiered design. The turquoise stones display beautiful greenish-blue tones with light matrix, adding depth and character to this one-of-a-kind heirloom.
Though unmarked (typical of earlier Navajo work), the necklace has been tested as solid sterling silver (.925) and carries the weight and presence of an authentic, hand-crafted piece from the mid-20th century or earlier.
