Round Rawhide adjustable Caveson 5⁄16″ with a 1/2″ adjustable Latigo strap and hanger.

Cavesons are fitted nosebands that can be used for ground training and lunging exercises or for riding.  They are designed to keep a horse from evading pressure from the bit by encouraging the horse to keep his mouth closed.   Simple but effective, cavesons can help resolve training issues and are generally used only temporarily.
